40 associations are suing the French government for failing to assist homeless individuals, alleging violations of existing laws. They argue the government has not met its obligations under the Code de l’Action sociale et des Familles and the loi Dalo. The lawsuit aims to hold the government accountable and seeks measures to improve housing, including building more social housing and possibly requisitioning private housing.
